Good Holiday Monday Morning!

Can you believe the summer holiday is officially over?  The summer flew by so incredibly quickly and here we are on the cusp of autumn.

Today I have several pics to share of my reveal projects for the Scrap Shotz September Kit.  This month’s kit featured the Daisy Bucket In The Meadow line, and the beautiful tones were so easy to work with!  I might just keep going until I use up every last scrap of this line!  Without further ado… here we go:

Phew!  Don’t forget to come and visit Scrap Shotz to check out the new DT challenges that will go up today.  Did you know that every month someone wins a $20 GC to the store simply for doing a DT challenge?  It’s worth a look!

That’s all for now, Happy Labour Day!

I’m still diligently working away here and there on my next Scrap Shotz Kit reveal.  And today I got my hands on what’s going to be our next card kit too… can I just say *DELISH*!!  Stay tuned for the Sept. 15th reveal of that baby!!

In the meantime, I had some fun with my Cuttlebug again and made a card for this weeks CPS sketch (#79).  I used my Cuttlebug to emboss copper foil, then I ‘burnished’ the foil with Staz-on ink and used it as my background.  I quite like the effect! 🙂

Not much to share as I’m diligently working on the next Scrap Shotz Kit reveal… it’s a scrumptious kit so very easy to work with.  I’ll post my creations when I can. 😉

In the meantime, here is my version of this weeks 2 Sketches 4 You card, a versatile sketch posted by Laura.  I used some of the Crate Sweet Branch line for this one, LOVE that paper and I’ve almost used it all up! I also broke in my new Martha Stewart Lace Edge punch… love the effect!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend as much as I am!  I spent some quality time with my ailing FIL this morning and presented him with an album of our recent family vacation with him, he was so touched.  We’re getting some good summer ‘family time’ in around here, we’re finally at the stage where we can take family bike rides… hooray!

Today I have one card to share, I’m “Showing You My Sheetload!” LOL!  This is my take on the Sheetload August Mini Issue Sketch.  Every month they have a contest with cool prizes for one lucky entrant who creates a card based on either the main issue sketch of the monthly mini issue sketch.  Click on the link above to check it all out.

Enjoy your weekend!

Cheers!

Happy Monday Morning!

I’m starting off lickety-split with this week’s 2S4Y card… a lovely sketch by Kazan!  Love the skinny cards so this one was fun!  I used more of that Imaginisce Snowy Jo line that I can’t get enough of.

Because I managed to make a card based on the CPS sketch #78!   Such a versatile sketch, and I had this new stamp set just begging to be broken in, so off I went!  Been feeling pretty productive lately, and I’m enjoying the return of my mojo that had left me in the spring.

Played around with my new Bella stamp today.. how cute is she??  This card is based on a Di Hickman sketch, thanks Di!  This Rhonna Farer PP is ancient but still one of my all-time favorite lines!

Enjoy your sweet Sunday!
