Archive for November, 2007

The first of the month is reveal day at Scrap Shotz.  The fabulous December kit is too delicious not to dive into.  I spent 3 hours one afternoon and altered 3 projects… what fun!!  A yummy reprieve from our tumultuous November, I was in my scrap zone for 3 glorious hours, thoroughly enjoying this kit!  Have a gander at the whole DT reveal and feel free to peruse the challenges at www.scrapshotz.com !

My first niece, Abigail, came along yesterday! She lives south of the border so I likely won’t get to meet her for several months yet. This morning, I whipped up these altered letters for her nursery. If my SIL and BIL decide spell Abby with an “i” instead of a “y”, they can reverse the “A” and the first “B” and spell BABY instead! 😉Altered Letters

My scrap to-do list is only getting bigger, and I have lots of challenges I’d like to do. So with that in mind I have combined two card challenges that caught my fancy this week! The first is a shape/sketch challenge you’ll find here: http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2007/11/mojo-monday-week-10.html. You had to make a square card and follow Julee’s sketch. I combined this with a theme/color challenge you’ll find here: http://moralia.wordpress.com/2007/11/08/colouroccasion-challenge-thursday/ Carla’s challenge was for a pink Christmas card! What better stamp to use than Merrybella??

Supplies: Daisy Bucket PP, Stamping Bella Image Stamp and Baubles, SU Sentiment Stamp, Offray Ribbon, Watercolor Pencils, Stickles, Staz-on Ink
